The World's Most Famous Arena hosts everything from Knicks and Rangers games to residency runs. It's also one of the easiest US venues to attend — if you know the basics.

Getting there is the easy part

MSG sits directly on top of Penn Station: LIRR, NJ Transit, Amtrak, and the 1/2/3 and A/C/E subway lines all land underneath the building. There is no reason to drive. None.

Entry

Mobile entry only — have your ticket in the app with brightness up before you reach the doors. Bags larger than a small purse mean a bag-check line you don't want. Doors typically open 60-90 minutes before showtime.

Seating in one paragraph

Floor sections are flat — great energy, sightlines depend on your row. The 100-level bowl is the all-around sweet spot. 200-level corners are the value play. The 300s ("the bridge" hangs below them) are steep but surprisingly good for full-production shows.

Resale reality at MSG

High-demand MSG nights are exactly where checkout fees diverge the most between marketplaces — a 25-30% swing on an expensive seat is real money. Compare totals across StubHub, SeatGeek, TickPick and Vivid before you commit; that's the two minutes TixInfo exists for.
