TixInfo Price Index

How it's built. TixInfo compares live prices from official partner ticket marketplaces (HelloTickets, Ticket Squeeze). Once per day we record each tracked event's cheapest listing with fees included — the real price a buyer would pay, not the sticker price. The index is the median of those floors; medians resist the skew of a few four-figure floor seats. We sell nothing and hold no inventory, so we have no reason to make prices look high or low.

Reuse is free with attribution. Charts, numbers, and the underlying dataset (JSON) may be republished in articles, research, and broadcasts, provided you credit "TixInfo Price Index" and link to this page. For custom cuts of the data — a specific artist, tour, city, or date range — email said@tixinfo.com or use the contact form; we usually turn press requests around same-day.

What we exclude, and why. Each daily median is computed once from that day's observations and then frozen — we never restate published history. Days with fewer than 10 priced events in a category are not published, and week-over-week moves beyond 200% are withheld as probable data artifacts rather than presented as market moves.Ticket Squeeze: observations before 2026-07-23 are excluded (Until 2026-07-23 the Seatics widget parser counted non-seat listings (parking passes, garages, street spots) as ticket prices, so recorded floors on ~90 events were 3-6x below the real cheapest seat. Fixed by the NON_SEAT filter in gen-catalog.mjs.)

Floor prices are marketplace asking prices, not sale prices. History began July 2026 and deepens daily; windows shown reflect the days recorded so far.
